Card - So Grateful

I was looking at the Shabby Tearoom Challenge today.  I don't send my cards in  but I often like to do the challenges. They don't usually get on the blog as I am so sporadic at blogging.  Anyway this is one I did with Stampin Up Apothercary Labels, Label Framelits, Bashful Blue Cardstock, acetate, white organza ribbon and the subtles colour palette with a touch of daffodil yellow for the flower centres.  The stamp was embossed with black and then painted using an aqua brush.

Irish Photos with Prima Fairybelle Paper

The next 4 scrapbook pages are ones I have done using Prima Fairybelle.  I think it works really well with these photos taken while on Holiday in Ireland in 2000.

The castle ruins were fabulous.... I had already scrapped them about 8 years ago, but talk about embarrassing.... now I am proud to show them off!

Tree Tops

Once a month I go to my friend Narelle's to scrap and she comes up with a sketch.  This is a pretty basic page but I think it works really well with the photos of Ben with his friends on his 11th Birthday.

Wash Day with Dad

I like to scrapbook photos of the 'everyday', even if the photos aren't great.  This one taken when Ben was really little in the wicker basket is one of those photos.  Kaiser paper makes the photo come alive.

Steph Devlin Designs Rock

My absolute favourite Scrapbook designer is Steph Devlin.  I love the way she is so versatile with her designs and that no two pages ever look the same.  She is so talented.  One day I would love to meet her.

The two pictures, first one done with Kaiser and the second with Prima, are pretty much cased from her designs.  obviously I don't have all the embellishments she does, so there is a variation or two.  Sunday Best is of me (wasn't I cute!) in 1968 and the other is of Ben at a miniature village we visited in the UK when he was 3!  The village was so realistic you wouldn't actually realise it was a miniature unless you were told.

Sorry my photography isn;t that great!

School - year 2

October Afternoon would have to be one of my most favourite ranges of paper.  This is a photo of Ben taken in England at Bourton Meadow School.  He was just 7 and in year 2.  I've recently got up to date with all the school album, so am pleased I came across this photo in the garage whilst doing a massive de-clutter recently!  Now I have a heap more photos to get into albums!  Love it!

Dare to Dream

This photo of Ben was taken early in 2011.  Ben had had a rough year, having been diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, a school and social phobia as well as having just got over Glandular Fever.  He was at a very low ebb and this was taken on a day that he managed to smile.  He has such a gorgeous smile.  I love his smile....I thought this paper was appropriate for the photo!

Live Free & Fly

This is a scrapbook page that I completed recently. I love using flowers and birds on my layouts.... even though Ben (beautiful son) thinks they are awful! He looks so cute in this photo.....

Cupcakes

I am not the best of bakers..... well that's not entirely true.... I'm okay at it, but I really don't enjoy it too much even thought I love to cook meals! I made these little delights for a friend ..... I actually enjoy icing things and making things look pretty so cupcakes are a fun thing to make...

Hot Air Balloons

These were inspired by a class I did with Jacque.... although the inside of the card was less complicated.

I loved this Die (not SU) but a great little box. I put some little samples of Clarins body cream, eye gel etc in these. I love the mocha papers here. I thought these were simple, but elegant with a little stamp, brad and ribbon embellishing them

I had heaps of fun making these mini milk cartons and filled them with little Easter Treats

Ladies Night at Diana's home

I had the pleasure to be invited to Diana's home a few weeks back for a night of festivities and hilarity. We had a 'show and tell' theme and a clothes swap also. Some of the clothes were hilarious... a gorgeous wedding dress that Leanne fitted perfectly and the wig that Lisa had on was just the best.... unfortunately the camera wasn't in my handbag! Now that's shocking for an avid Scrapbooker like myself! Anyway I did take along some gifts for the girls and the photos are here for you to have a look at. Enjoy!

Thanks to Sue for helping me with my Blog

Here goes everyone.... time for the first proper postings. I hope I get it right! hugs Pamx
